Life’s Greatest Decision (keep scrolling down below)
"We were created for a reason—a divine purpose.
Our lives are not accidents or fate. God has a personal plan for each of us, and His purpose in our lives can only be
accomplished through Jesus Christ. The life of Jesus Christ is the turning point of all history. Even our calendar
is hinged on His birth. Throughout history many have asked and will continue to ask,
“Who was this man?”
Jesus is God’s Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died for our sins and conquered death by rising again to offer us forgiveness of sin
and the gift of everlasting life. He ascended to heaven and will return again for all His followers. Because God loves us, he created us to be in relationship with Him.
Needing an answer
to a most popular asked question?
Why
Does God Allow Evil?
TGIF Today God Is First Volume 2, by Os Hillman 05-29-2008
"If you, O
Lord, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand" (Psalm 130:3).
One of the most common questions every person wrestles
with in life is this: "God, if You are loving, just, and all-powerful, why do You allow good people to suffer?" Many choose
not to believe in God because they cannot adequately explain this question. Evangelist Billy Graham addressed this question
in his book Answers to Life's Problems:
"We do not know all the reasons why God permits
evil. We need to remember, however, that he is not the cause of evil in this world and we should therefore not blame Him for
it. Remember that God did not create evil, as some believe. God created the world perfect. Man chose to defy God and go his
own way, and it is man's fault that evil entered the world. Even so, God has provided the ultimate triumph of good over evil
in Jesus Christ, who on the cross, defeated Satan and those who follow him. Christ is coming back and when He does, all evil
will be ended forever and righteousness and justice will prevail.
Have you ever thought about what would happen if God
suddenly eliminated all the evil in this world? Not one person would be left, because we are all guilty of sin."
Whenever we suffer, we should remember that the
Son of God went before us, drinking the cup of suffering and death to the dregs. Because Christ is fully man and fully God,
we know that God understands our fears, sorrows and suffering. He identifies with us. Most important of all, the Father has
given us the gift of His Son so that we don't have to die and suffer forever in eternity.
Because Jesus suffered and died for us, our suffering
can be made like His -purposeful and meaningful. Evil, suffering and death came into the world when the first man and woman
listened to Satan and committed the first sin. Evil was never part of the Garden of Eden. The moment Adam and Eve crossed
the boundary of God's command, evil became the terrible reality of this world.
There are
some questions that will remain unresolved until we are able to meet face to face with our Creator in Heaven.

Coaching Philosophy
I (Charlotte)
hope to glorify God through my teaching and in playing the game of tennis. I also pray that God will use me to influence
others in a positive way because of my love and faith in Him. My priority in teaching tennis is to assist my
students in reaching their utmost potential in this great game. That will come as they commit themselves to
regularly attend their weekly clinic (clinics) as well as practicing on their own.
Dedication,
sportsmanship, respect for others, and honesty are a part of the foundation of life-skills. These characteristics
will be encouraged during each lesson. The long-term welfare and the happiness of players are valued more than the immediate
results. Winning and losing are only temporary. Character and self esteem last a lifetime.
Missions Statement
To serve my
tennis students to the best of my ability and to help them improve in their tennis skills as well as developing Godly character,
while having fun on the courts.

Personal Information
Paul
and I have been happily married for 33 years, as of May 2010. We have 4 grown children which God has
graciously blessed us with.
Jonathan
is 30, Amy 27, Leah 25, and Matthew 22. Our daughters were married in 2008 to the greatest guys! So,
now we have two son-in-laws in the family.
Paul went to college at Syracuse University and studied Forestry.
It was there that he came to faith in Jesus as His Savior and Lord. At that point, his life was
changed dramatically. Paul never pursued a job in forestry, but he still knows most trees in Latin!
Paul also
enjoys running several miles 3-4 days a week and pumps iron 2-3 days a week to stay in shape. He is also a very humbled piano player and can play difficult Chopin
songs fairly well----when we beg him!
In
the early 1970's, I attended Middle Tenn. State followed by Arizona State Univ. majoring in Physical Education,
and I played a lot of tennis---and also had a lot of fun!!! Hiking down the Grand Canyon was quite the event
to remember!
My
most memorable event occurred in the beginning of my sophomore year of college. I came to know Jesus as my Savior!
One afternoon I received His forgiveness for my sins when I invited Him into my heart. At that very moment
I understood and believed God's unconditional love and grace for the first time. I was baptized not long afterwards
and as a result of my new-found faith began reading my Bible (God's Holy Word). His spirit illuminated
my mind, slowly changing various areas of my life. That's what God does miraculously for every new believer by
the indwelling Holy Spirit.
While students in college, Paul and I were both involved in a Christian group----
Campus Crusade for Christ. After college we worked on the staff of Campus Crusade, which is where (and how) we
met. As a newly married couple we had ministries on
various college campuses in NY and NJ before moving to Raleigh, NC in 1983 where Paul became the owner of his own kitchen cabinet company-----Cornerstone Kitchens.
He sold his company in 2002, and currently does kitchen designing and sales for another kitchen company. We are also
involved in our church and community in various ways!
One of my favorite activities is to begin the day reading God's Holy Word for further growth in
my relationship with Him. I love Christian music, writing, taking pictures, the beautiful
outdoors, spending time with people, and encouraging other gals to come to know Jesus and to grow in
their own walk with Him. Last year I became involved in the mentoring program at our church.
Knowing God, loving Him, and serving Him is the heart-beat of this life on
earth, and He's the One who makes every day truly enjoyable.
God is good!!! His blessings are abundant! I love
how He answers prayers!!! "Prayer is the slender nerve that moves the mighty
hand of God." (Ruth Myers)
