James 5:16, "Confess your sins to one another, and
pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish
much."
| John 14:13-14 Whatever you ask in My name, that |

Ephesians 6:18 "With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with
this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints (fellow believers in Christ).
Philippians 4:6 "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.'

| Romans 1:20 Since the creation of the world |

Every person alive needs prayer! The only One to turn to in prayer
at any given time is Jesus (whether a person is on their knees or simply praying while driving in the
car). He intercedes to the Father on the behalf of His children who come to Him in faith.
God's glory can be seen in the sky and most often in the beautiful cloud shapes which often
times "appear" to look like the face of God, faces of people in prayer, and at times even figures that resemble
hands lifted up in praise to Him. Since all believers are called to worship the Lord and pray without
ceasing, a fun habit is to "see" Him high and lifted up in the clouds ....which depict His glory in amazing ways
as can be seen in the pictures above.
"Now faith is the assurance of things
hoped for, the conviction of things not yet seen." Hebrews 11:1
In the past few years I have seen God answer prayers that I never thought possible. At
times I had little faith when praying for certain requests. Yet, God even answers (answered) requests
that are prayed with faith as tiny as a little mustard seed. In Matthew 17:20 Jesus said, "If you have
faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, move from here to there, and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you."
I do know that God honors all prayers brought to Him in simple or child-like faith, and in
the name of Jesus. Doubts will bombard every human soul now and again, but in God's Word I am reminded of Jeremiah 32:27 "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?"
There are so many powerful scriptures on the topic of prayer! I Thes. 5:16-18
says to: "Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in
everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." Apostle Paul is reminding
the Thessalonians to be in an attitude of prayer while going about the activities of the day.
On this link I will gladly lift up to the Lord any prayer requests that are sent to me through
the "Contact Me" Link. No names or e-mail addresses are necessary.
For those who believe in the power of prayer and who are also men and women of faith desiring
to make a difference in this life on earth, I would appreciate any prayers for the personal requests that I will post
below.
There's not much in this life that is more exciting than answered prayer!!! Therefore, I will share
various answers to prayer on this page also. I call them "praise
reports" because when a specific prayer is answered the best response is: "I thank You and praise You Lord
that You cared to bend down and hear me when I call."
| Jesus is high and lifted up, shining in the light |

Song playing: "Safe In My Arms" by Plumb.."I will always love you" ....is what Jesus says, and those
words are true forever and for always!
Romans 8:2 "But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
26In the same way, the Spirit
helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.
27And He who searches our hearts
and knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will." (NIV
translation)
| Ps. 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield; |

|
| No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly." ...trusting in Him---saved by grace! |
Words of Dr. David Jeremiah:
"Prayer
is communication with heaven that moves us beyond our initial salvation experience and into a friendship with a God who speaks
to us in His Word and listens to us in prayer. The greatest purpose of prayer is experiencing the presence of God.
Just think
4:6 & 8!
James 4:7
& 8 tells us to resist the devil and draw near to God. Deuteronomy 4:7 &
8 tells us how to do it: "What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them
the way the LORD our God is near us whenever we pray to Him? And what other nation is so great as to have such righteous
decrees and laws?
The way
to draw near to God is by prayer and the study of His great decrees in the Bible."
| Jesus is the rock that holds! |

|
| He is the everlasting Rock which can be read in Psalm 61. |
Prayer is not conquering God's reluctance, but taking hold of God's willingness.
Phillips Brooks
Jim Elliot once said: God is still on His throne and man is still
on His footstool. There's only a knee's distance in between.
PRAYER REQUESTS... PRAISE REPORTS and anything
worth praising and thanking God for, while remembering the following verse:
Let us come boldly to the throne of grace,
that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16
Saturday evening:
I am thankful to the Lord
for this day and the many ways He worked in my life (see Encouragement link.)
I have known my friend Angie since we were 9 years old/ almost 10. I spent many a day and night at her house, along
with her brother Roger, 59, Johnny 61 or 62, and Ronny 64 (about) but when I first knew them they were in Jr.
high and high school. How time flies!!!
Since coming to faith in Jesus, Angie and I have always "been there for eachother" in happy times and in the trials of
life....the same. We share prayer requests frequently and honestly.
For those who pray, pray along with Angie, others and me for her oldest brother Ron. Her e-mail is as follows:
Dear sweet sisters, ( and brothers)
Got home tonight, Friday. My oldest brother, Ron McNeeley was
awaiting another CT scan and then his first chemo treatments tonight. He will be taking for 48 hours under observation, then
released on Monday assuming all is stable.Mom is staying with him, Mary Kay ( MK we call her) went home tonight to tend
to their family business, but also the dreaded task of telling the 5 children who are eagerly waiting to find out what is
going on in Gainesville..
He will be coming to Gainesville VA every 2 weeks for chemo ( indefinitely
at this point)
(from Orange City)
Ron, Mary Kay , Mom , Johnny ( my brother from Atlanta) have been together past
few days. The shock has worn off and we are all thinking a little straighter now and have had some additional consultation
with the surgeon , oncology. and medical Dr. teams.
Ron had a regularly scheduled colonoscopy the day before the surgery. It came
out totally clear , so Ron was elated and mentally relieved for the first time since he was told about the "hot spots"on the
P.E.T. scan a few months ago. He had colon cancer last March and after surgical removal and no chemo, was told he was " cancer
free". We knew that a new
tumor was now "on" the spleen and expected to go in and remove it.
The surgeon came out and called the family after he had been in surgery only
1 hour. Of course, this was not good news. M.K. had gone back to the hotel to get her things, only to be called back.
There are two definite cancerous tumors, and suspect more. Surgeon decided to
biopsy first before going in, since he had felt a suspicious growth on a digital exam 2 weeks earlier. Ron did not know he
was going to biopsy first until he was about to go into the operating room. Surgeon told him that if it came out cancerous,
he would not do the surgery. We all were not prepared for the news , since the colonoscopy came out so good.
Ron initially had a very very hard time with the news.
Apparently the tumor on the spleen is very deep. The surgery would have meant
extensive removal of the spleen and part of the pancreas, plus the other tumor in the abdomen. and he expected he
may find more.Liver and lungs are clear. The recovery would be difficult, and this type of cancer usually comes back. So, lost
time not doing chemo now. So chemo seems best ( only ) option right now. If chemo reduces the tumors, and no further
spread, he may reconsider surgery later on ( this is Ron's best medical chance) Ron's overall all general health
is good. He looks the best he has in a long time. So, prognostically, that is in his favor.
This is stage 4 cancer, a change from his cancer a year ago since it has gone
to other organs.
The surgeon did concur, when I asked if it was "terminal", outside of a
miracle. He said yes, 6 months to 2 years. However, on a later consultation, he made it clear that some go far beyond. Each
individual is different. When I asked the oncology Dr.s "if everything went well medically, and there could be an
eventual surgical removal, could he live 20 years? The answer was no."
So, this is the scoop for now. Thank you for understanding about holding calls.
Lots of family calls throughout the day yesterday, and things were changing constantly, and somewhat confusing and
quite emotional for everyone. Also, no access to email.
Thank you for your ongoing prayers. Please pray for Timmy, Katie, Michael, Megan
and Mary as they process this and prepare for Ron's return home on Monday. He really is the center of their world and family. For
MK and Ron to have clarity as they plan ahead.
They said he should be able to continue working ( but less hours) and drive.
That is good news.
So that is the medical "news".
Now for God. After the surgeon left us we had a prayer time ( Mom, John
and I ) and acknowledged that this it " too big" for us, and handed it over to God.
God has made His presence known to me in some very sweet, beautiful and visible
ways, with messages of hope and comfort. Holding on to Nahum 1:3b which was sent to me via a text in a very interesting and
timely way soon after we had gotten the news, apart from the senders knowledge of what was going on:. "The
Lord hath His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet."
Ron and I also took a walk yesterday afternoon down the road and God gave another
sweet sign of hope.
Right now, MK is very overwhelmed, but hopeful, in that we don't really know
what is going to happen. She stayed with me in the hotel last night, and she was able to pour our her fears, have a melt down,
then we had a wonderful prayer time.
She will be telling the kids tonight . She called the high school counselor for
advice today and he recommended total honesty with them
Thanks for your love and concern for Ron ,his family, Mom, and the McNeeleys
and Kolsches (Angie McNeeley Kolsch)
I am at peace, trusting God in this, His purposes for His glory.
Much love
Angie
I, Charlotte, prayed numerous times today for their family. Angie sent her above letter
out to many prayer warrior friends, and I do the same, for "one never knows what
prayers might just accomplish." I've seen God do the amazing, the miraculous, the unexpected, the surprising,
the indescribable with many prayers brought before Him AND with "less than
mustard seed-size faith" these past few years specifically.
I sent Angie the following devotional message (by Chuck Swindoll) knowing that God has
used/has shown me similar words in my life these past few years.
"So, take heart, my friend. God is in full control. Nothing is happening on earth that brings a surprise to heaven. Nothing
is outside the scope of His divine radar screen as He guides us safely home. Things that seem altogether confusing, without
reason, unfair, even wrong, do indeed fit into the Father's providential plan.
Nothing touches us that has not first
passed through His hands."
In response...Angie wrote:
When I left yesterday, I wrote Ron 3 verses on a piece of journal paper and told him that when men give you bad
words, these are the good ones. He put in his folder. Each of them was reminding him that GOD has numbered His days in
Psalm 139...no matter what man says; that God will complete EVERYTHING concerning him Psalm 138:8, and the
Nahum 1:3 that God will have HIS WAY in the storm.
This is TOO BIG for us to fix, although we can be proactive, and particularly in areas of nutrition.
Ronnie is very funny about receiving too much information and will just lay it aside. He is not a reader. I have given
him even a Bible last time in the hospital and he lays aside. He has to have bear minimum. A piece of paper. He
can't focus on anything very long . He is like a bullet point kind of guy. He told me that he has had the song "Rock
of Ages" on his mind a lot. He is out of church for most of his adult life, so he has his child /teen memories of church.
He loves "How Great Thou Art"...I gave him a CD of Whitney Phipps whom he caught on TV once and he loves them. He loves his
big deep bass/baritone voice.
So, I have to read him, and keep it " little".
Ron would enjoy power, big hymns like that would be on Internet. He does not have a CD player. He is going to try to
live as normal a life as he can back home, since they say he can still work.
The "marker" God gave Ron and I, was a little wild flower while we were walking outside. He started " preaching" about
the miracle of creation and how could anyone believe that a big bang could create all of this. He then pointed to some wild
flowers by the sidewalk and said, " they are a miracle...as big as any"..I smiled inside, knowing he was proclaiming belief
and faith. I told him, " I am going to pick one and keep it and we are going to make this a marker of God who does miracles
" He was touched. That morning, I was recalling as this was happening, I read a brief devotional from God Calling on the small
miracle of life is as big as the biggest things. All have life, the small and big. When I told Karen Collins about the flower,
before I could say a thing, she said, " You should read God Calling today" I already had...we both were smiling.
God keeps on giving His touches. The Nahum 1:3 verse King James Version was sent to me on my text. ( I am not a texter,
but someone sent) Interesting thing, was that she was just trying to recall a scripture she couldn't remember the day before
that God used in her own life and story, and had remembered it. I get a lot of " delayed" texts and voice mails on my messed
up phone. So....she sent it about what she was telling me, not about Ron.
BUT it came right after we got the news.
I knew, that the point of her story the day before, and the verse, was for US the next day.
The discussion in the Wed class was on God's miracles, and how they are not about dazzling us , but to express His love.
He does less miracles, so we learn to trust His love and know His presence, even in the unseen.
Thanks for ALL encouragement you send. Lots of unknown here, but I am at peace, centered on listening to what God
is saying, trying to discern the path He is making in the midst of this storm.
Just talked to Ron...he said Megan called and will " crochet him a wig". Glad to see there is some family humor with
the kids. Sounds like they have some news from MK.
Love
Angie
I, Charlotte, ask for prayers for Ronnie and his family. I praise God at all times for the body of Christ...for
brothers and sisters who care to pray on behalf of others' in need. And...may God bless in mighty ways those who care to be intercessors for others in need. "Lord, bless them
in amazing and surprising ways....is what I also ask this evening: "Thank You Jesus that You care to hear and answer
every single request brought before You." For You are good all
the time!!!
Saturday morning before leaving for work, and more to come later in the
afternoon:
I am playing this song because little Alex (15 months) was safe in the arms of
God last night...and to God I give thanks and praise. His fever spiked, breathing was labored and an ambulance
came for him. Thankfully, he is OK, for I've been praying for him this morning not knowing until 9:30 this morning what
his status was. When I was asleep last night, at 11:45 his mom texted me (I did not hear it) to see if I could come
over so that she and her husband could both ride with Alex in the ambulance. When I woke up this morning, I saw
the text and heard nothing back for two hours after texting and calling Mary back several times.
I received an e-mail from my friend Angie today. Her oldest brother's colon
cancer has returned and has spread. His name is Ronnie. Please pray for him, his wife and 5 children.
More to come later!
Ps. 48:1 "Great is the Lord
and greatly to be praised."
{The
following stays up permanently on this page each and every day}:
Father in heaven, help everybody today to do
the following, me included:
The words of Isaiah 26:3-4
"You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because
he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD God is an everlasting Rock."
AND, again today, as yesterday.... and as always I
thank and praise God so very much for my
friends who pray, who trust God to answer prayers, and who intercede for others with their time....while also reminding
me to praise Him in all of life's storms. I pray for their day to be wonderful, joyful and fulfilling as they walk
by faith...finding strength in His Word. "Lord, bless them greatly and answer their own personal prayers and longings of their hearts! In Jesus' name,
Amen!"
Pray, pray and pray
some more....all the day long!
I am not only grateful for all prayers, but also thrilled to offer up prayers for other people in need!
"How blessed are the people whose God is the LORD." Psalm 144:15
| Thank You Lord Jesus that You hear every prayer! |

|
| May all those who know You learn to trust You more, and learn to soar like eagles! |
Prayer by John Piper: "In the treasuring of Christ for His supreme glory
and this overwhelming love for others, may Jesus be exalted above all things---honored, admired, adored, esteemed, enjoyed,
praised, extolled, thanked, and worshiped. May our light shine in this
world so that people see you in our sacrificial deeds of love and our overwhelming words of truth and give glory to Your hallowed name,
Father. Through Jesus Christ Your Son, Amen!"
Ps. 66:19-20: "But
certainly God has heard; He has given heed to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, Who has not
turned away my prayer, nor His lovingkindness from me."
And, as Jeremiah 17:7 reads and is a wonderful truth to keep in mind every day: "Blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence."
Ps. 42:11 and 43: 5b both say:
"Hope in God, for I will again praise Him for the help of His presence."
Ps. 42:8; The Lord will command His lovingkindness
in the daytime and His song will be with me in the night, a prayer to the God of my life."
Psalm 39:7, 12:
"Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is
in You. Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear to my cry."
Psalm 20:4
"May He grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all your counsel...and all your petitions."
The
Lord's Prayer (New Living Bible; Matthew 6)
Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. 10 May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us today the food we need, 12 and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. 13 And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.
Hebrews
13: 15-16
"Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to His name. And don’t forget
to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God."
| Psalm 111:1-3 in parts: "Praise the Lord...great |

By John Piper: 9 Ways to Pray for Your Soul (and for
other people also):
1. For the desire of my heart to be toward God and His Word. "Incline
my heart to Your testimonies and not to gain." Ps. 119:36
2. For the eyes of my heart to be opened.
"Open my eyes, that I may behold wonderful things from Your law. (Ps.
119:18)
3. For my heart to be enlightened with these "wonders."
"(I pray) that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened (Eph. 1:18)
4. For my heart to be united, not divided, for God.
"O Lord, I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name."
(Ps. 86:11)
5. For my heart to be satisfied with God and not with the world.
"O satisfy us in the morning with Your steadfast love, that we may rejoice
and be glad all our days. (Ps. 90:14).
6. For strength in this joy, and endurance during the dark seasons.
I pray that God "would grant you according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit
in the inner man." (Eph. 3:16)
7. For visible good deeds and works of love to others.
I pray that you "walk in a manner worthy of the Lord...bearing fruit in
every good work (Col. 1:10)
8. For God to be glorified.
"Hallowed be Thy name." (Matt. 6:9)
9. In Jesus' Name.
He who did not spare his own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not
also give us all things with Him? (Rom. 8:32).

| Be one (B-1) who prayers. Answers will come |

|
| in God's most perfect timing. Keep trusting, obeying, waiting, watching and do not lose hope! |
|
The following is a good thing to know and apply:
"Your Life The Jukebox, "B-1 for Someone." In a segment of the article
he encouraged his audience to B-1 who prays (also B-1 who helps others and B-1 who cares for others).
"We can B-1 who prays, whatever our age or limitations. Billy Graham said that
the secret to his crusades being a success were because of prayer, prayer, prayer
and more prayer. Each day millions of prayers ascend upward before the Lord. Millions of names are
called. Millions of problems are addressed before the Throne of Grace. And millions of answers descend in
God's timing.
Missionaries are strengthened, children return to the fold, financial needs are met,
pastors are empowered for their work, churches are unified, hurts are healed, and cares are committed into the pierced hands
of the Savior. The quiet unseen ministry of intercession is quite possible the greatest work on this earth."
There are a
couple of songs that God has used/still uses in enormous ways in my life! One of them is "Make My Life A Prayer" by the late Keith Green, which is a very honest
and humble song about prayer, sacrifice, commitment, surrender, and also a song that reminds me that others are praying for
me, as I am for them. The lyrics tell what God desires and requires for those who believe in His Son, Jesus Christ;
dying to self and living for Him. The second is "Your
Name" by Paul Baloche. Both songs are beautiful songs reminding me of the power and the importance
of prayer. Lastly is "There Is A Redeemer" by
Keith Green which makes for a powerful song of prayer as well. What a privilege to carry, everything to God in prayer!
Lyrics below:
There
Is A Redeemer
There is a redeemer, Jesus,
God's own Son, Precious Lamb of God, Messiah, Holy One,
Jesus my redeemer, Name above all names, Precious
Lamb of God, Messiah, Oh, for sinners slain.
Thank you oh my father, For giving us Your Son, And leaving
Your Spirit, 'Til the work on Earth is done.
When I stand in Glory, I will see His face, And there I'll
serve my King forever, In that Holy Place.
Thank you oh my father, For giving us Your Son, And leaving Your
Spirit, 'Til the work on Earth is done.
There is a redeemer, Jesus, God's own Son, Precious Lamb of God,
Messiah, Holy One,
Thank you oh my father, For giving us Your Son, And leaving Your Spirit, 'Til the
work on Earth is done.
And leaving Your Spirit, 'Till the work on Earth is done.
Make My Life A Prayer
Make my life a prayer to You I wanna do what you want me to No empty
words and no white lies No token prayers no compromise
I wanna shine the light You gave Through Your Son You
sent to save us From ourselves and our despair It comforts me to know You're really there
Well I wanna thank You now For being
patient with me Oh it's so hard to see When my eyes are on me I guess I'll have to trust And just believe what
You say Oh You're coming again Coming to take me away
I wanna die and let You give Your life to me so I might
live And share the hope You gave me The love that set me free
I wanna tell the world out there You're not
some fable or fairy tale That I've made up inside my head You're God the Son and You've risen from the dead
I wanna die and let You give Your
life to me so I might live And share the hope You gave me The love that set me free!
Your Name:
As morning dawns and evening fades You inspire songs of praise
That rise from earth to touch Your heart and glorify Your Name
CHORUS Your Name is a strong and mighty tower
Your Name is a shelter like no other Your Name, let the nations sing it louder 'Cause nothing has the pow- er
to save But Your Name
Jesus, in Your Name we pray Come and fill our hearts today Lord, give us strength
to live for You and glorify Your Name
CHORUS Your Name is a strong and mighty tower Your Name is a shelter
like no other Your Name, let the nations sing it louder 'Cause nothing has the power to save but Your Name CHORUS
Your Name is a strong and mighty tower Your Name is a shelter like no other Your Name, let the nations sing it
louder
'Cause nothing has the power to save but
Your Name!
